Manual tracking
Manual expense tracking gives you direct control over what enters your financial record. In Pludo Ledger, you can add and edit transactions yourself, organize them by category and account, and use AI only when it is useful for a specific task.

01
The usefulness of a manual expense tracker depends on the completeness of the records you enter. Ledger does not automatically import bank transactions.
02
Transactions, budgets, goals, recurring payments, reports, and exports have direct manual workflows. You do not need to use Plu to record or organize your finances.
This can be useful when you want to decide exactly what is tracked, correct an entry yourself, or keep a simple record without linking a bank account.
03
Attach a receipt image and ask Plu to prepare details such as merchant, items, amount, date, and a suggested category for review.
Ask about the financial context you select, then inspect the underlying records in the manual workspace.
Ask Plu to prepare supported record or budget actions; destructive changes require confirmation.

AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Check receipt fields, categories, summaries, calculations, and suggested actions before saving or relying on them.
AI processing is optional and needs a network connection. When you use it, the request can include the prompt, relevant financial context, and any receipt image you attach.
Open Ledger to record your next transaction manually, then use AI only when you choose.
