Privacy, explained plainly.

Pludo Ledger is designed so your core financial records begin in device storage. Online services are used for features such as account access, AI assistance, support, and optional services you choose to enable.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to the Pludo Ledger website and app. Pludo AI is the personal developer brand of Abdul Hajees and operates online at pludoai.com. For privacy questions or requests, contact admin@pludoai.com.

Information handled by the service

  1. 01Financial records you enter, such as transactions, categories, budgets, goals, recurring payments, and notes
  2. 02Account profile information, such as your name, email address, and profile image provided through Google Sign-In via Firebase
  3. 03Prompts, selected financial context, and images you choose to submit to an AI feature
  4. 04Support messages and information you voluntarily include in them
  5. 05Basic technical information needed to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the service
  6. 06Aggregate website usage information collected through Google Analytics only after you grant analytics consent

Where your financial records live

By default, core financial records are kept in device storage. Pludo AI does not receive a full copy merely because you use the basic tracking features.

If you clear site data, remove the app, lose the device, or use a private browsing session, locally stored records may be lost. Use the export feature and protect your backup file. You can instead opt in to automatic Google Drive backup, which writes a copy to a private area of your own Google Drive that only Ledger can see. Pludo AI does not store or have access to that copy.

When information is sent online

  1. 01Signing in sends account information to our account service provider
  2. 02Using AI sends the prompt, relevant context, and any receipt image you attach to the selected AI provider
  3. 03Turning on automatic Google Drive backup (opt-in) sends your records to a private, app-only area of your own Google Drive, not to Pludo AI’s servers
  4. 04Using device-to-device transfer sends the information you approve to the connected device
  5. 05Contacting support sends the contents of your message to us and our communications provider
  6. 06All data transmitted between your device and our online services is encrypted in transit using industry-standard security protocols (HTTPS/TLS)
The AI provider can change as the product develops. The provider used for a request should be shown in the app. Current options may include Google Gemini, Mistral, OpenRouter, GLM, or NVIDIA NIM, and their own terms and privacy notices also apply.

Selling, advertising, and automated decisions

We do not sell your financial records or use them to build advertising profiles. Pludo Ledger may provide automated summaries and suggestions, but it is not intended to make legally significant decisions about you.

Retention and deletion

Device records remain until you delete them, clear device storage, or remove the app data. Account, support, security, and legal records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected and any applicable legal obligations.

AI providers may retain submitted information under their own terms and the account or settings used for that request. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.

International services and children

Online providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards should be used.

Pludo Ledger is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. The updated date will appear above. If a change meaningfully affects how we handle information, we will provide additional notice where reasonably possible or legally required.
